The academy is designed for the serious player who wants to take their game to another level. It will change our overall approach to playing the game and will incorporate speed and agility training. I highly encourage only those with previous playing experience by an organized team attend. Each player will receive a written evaluation detailing their strengths and weaknesses. This academy will provide stronger competition and more individual work. Campers will participate in games, contests, and our popular shooting league.

This 4 day program is a great place for any young basketball player, who is looking to develop and refine their fundamental basketball skills. Emphasis is placed on fundamental development with games, contests, and team play.

This camp will strictly work on the techniques and fundamentals of shooting. The four day camp insures good mechanics, which will help raise your shooting percentage. We will use the same drills I use at Rufus King, at the varsity level. I strongly recommend only 5th through 9th graders to attend this camp. Each camper will have their shot video taped and critiqued by our "Shot Doctor."

Post: This special Post camp will concentrate on low/high post play. This is a great opportunity to fine tune post positional techniques. Emphasis placed upon low post offensive moves, defensive post play and other specialized techniques that can improve your play.
Perimeter: The perimeter camp is designed to concentrate on refining guard play. The focus will be making the player a more proficient ball handler and increase explosiveness on the offensive/defensive end. Emphasis will be placed on perimeter play, including offensive moves, shooting, ball handing, footwork, and defense. Campers will participate in games and contests.
